Filipino VA Recruitment Services Compared (2026): Fees, Speed and Guarantees

By WorkBase PH · Published October 2026 · 9 min read

If you’d rather not post a job and screen applicants yourself, a recruitment service will find your Filipino virtual assistant for you. You tell them the role, they source and interview candidates, and you pick who to hire. The catch is that these services charge in very different ways: a flat fee, a percentage of your hire’s salary, or a monthly management fee.

We compared six services on what matters before you pay: the fee, how many candidates you get and how fast, and what happens if the hire doesn’t work out. Every figure below comes from each provider’s own website, checked on October 19, 2026. Prices and terms change, so confirm them with the provider before you pay.

Disclosure: WorkBase PH is one of the six services here; it’s ours. We’ve noted where other services beat us, too.

Flat fee or percentage: what the difference costs

With a percentage recruiter, a better-paid hire costs you more. Take a full-time VA paid $700 a month, or $8,400 in the first year. At 25–35%, Somewhere’s fee would be $2,100–$2,940. The flat fees in this list are set up front and don’t rise with the salary: $200 at ScoutForce PH, from $490 at WorkBase PH, $695 at Virtual Staff Finder, from $750 at PhilPro VA and $900 at VisionFind for a standard role. In every case you pay your VA’s salary on top, unless you choose a managed option.

Questions to ask any recruiter before you pay

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to have a recruiter find a Filipino VA?

The flat-fee recruiters in this comparison charge from $200 to $1,400 per hire (October 2026). Percentage recruiters charge 25–35% of the hire’s first-year salary, which is $2,100–$2,940 for a VA paid $700 a month. You pay the VA’s salary separately.

Which Filipino VA recruiter is fastest?

WorkBase PH can present 2–3 candidates within 2 business days for straightforward roles. Virtual Staff Finder targets about 10 business days, VisionFind 2–3 weeks for standard roles, and Somewhere 2–4 weeks to hire.

Do I pay my VA through the recruiter?

Not with a direct hire: you pay your VA yourself, usually through Wise, Payoneer or PayPal. If you want someone else to run payroll, WorkBase PH Managed Hire, Virtual Staff Finder Concierge and Somewhere Talent On-Demand all offer it for a monthly fee.

What if the hire doesn’t work out?

Guarantees range from 30 days (WorkBase PH Direct Hire, Virtual Staff Finder and VisionFind) to 60 days (ScoutForce PH, up to 2 replacement searches), 120 days (PhilPro VA) and 6 months (Somewhere). With WorkBase PH Managed Hire, replacement is free for as long as you stay.

Is a recruiter worth it, or should I post a job myself?

If you have a few hours to review applicants and run interviews, posting a job yourself costs much less: a WorkBase PH job post is $29 one-time. A recruiter makes sense when you need someone fast or don’t have time to screen.
