By registering or using WorkBase PH ("the Platform"), both Employers and Specialists agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read this document carefully before using the Platform.
1. Scope of Service
WorkBase PH is a curated matchmaking platform — not a job board — that connects Employers with vetted Filipino Specialists. WorkBase PH earns revenue exclusively from Employer subscription plans. Specialists pay nothing and are never charged a commission or platform fee. Every peso earned by a Specialist through a WorkBase PH match belongs entirely to them.
2. Employer Access & Pricing Plans
WorkBase PH offers three self-service hiring plans. All plan fees are charged in USD and processed via PayPal. Employers select the option that best suits their needs:
Starter — $15 flat
Includes up to 2 active job posts, unlimited applicants, free messaging, access to candidate profiles and resumes, standard listing visibility, and built-in interview scheduling. AI Candidate Audit available as a $15 add-on per job post. Starter fees are non-refundable.
Essential — $49/month (Cancel Anytime)
Up to 10 active job posts, unlimited applicants, unlimited messaging, applicant tracking (pipeline view), built-in interview scheduling, and Priority Listing visibility included. Supports 1 user login. AI Candidate Audit add-on available at $15/post. Includes a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers. Annual plan available at $490/year (2 months free). Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Monthly fees are non-refundable.
Pro — $79/month (Cancel Anytime)
Unlimited active job posts, unlimited applicants, unlimited messaging, priority job visibility, built-in interview scheduling, Unlimited AI Profile Audits (no per-audit fee), 3 team seats (recruiter, HR manager & admin logins), and Priority Support via dedicated email & chat line. Includes all Essential features and a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers. Annual plan available at $790/year (2 months free). Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Monthly fees are non-refundable.
2a. AI Candidate Audit Add-On
The AI Candidate Audit is a one-time, per-job-post add-on available to Starter and Essential plan subscribers at $15 per audit. Upon payment, WorkBase PH's AI system analyzes applicant profiles against the relevant Job Description and categorizes each applicant as a match or mismatch, providing a brief reason for each mismatch. Mismatched applicants are archived (not deleted) and remain viewable by the Employer at any time. Pro plan subscribers receive unlimited AI Candidate Audits at no additional cost. WorkBase PH provides tools and insights to help employers evaluate candidates — all hiring decisions remain the sole responsibility of the Employer. AI Audit fees are non-refundable once the audit has been processed.
5. Employer Verification
To protect our specialist community, all long-term employer accounts are subject to a quick verification before they can post jobs. Project-based or freelance engagements do not require verification and may proceed directly to plan selection.
During verification, employers are required to submit one document that confirms the legitimacy of their business. The document must include the business name and address. Accepted documents include:
- Utility bill (internet, electricity, or water) addressed to the company
- Business License or Articles of Incorporation
- Tax Permit or Insurance Document (e.g., company liability insurance)
- Lease or Franchise Agreement
- Industry-specific or government-issued license
WorkBase PH conducts this verification solely to confirm business legitimacy and protect specialists from fraudulent or bad-faith employers. Verification documents are handled securely and are never shared with third parties. Employers who do not complete verification within a reasonable period may have their ability to post jobs restricted until verification is complete.
6. Independent Contractor Status
All Specialists on WorkBase PH are independent contractors. Nothing in these Terms creates an employer-employee relationship between WorkBase PH and any Specialist, or between an Employer and any Specialist. Specialists are solely responsible for reporting and paying their own taxes (e.g., BIR filings in the Philippines) in accordance with applicable law.
7. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between an Employer and Specialist regarding deliverables, scope, or engagement terms, both parties agree to first submit the matter to WorkBase PH's internal support process. WorkBase PH will make reasonable efforts to facilitate resolution but does not assume liability for outcomes of privately arranged engagements.
8. Amendments
WorkBase PH reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after such notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Accuracy of Technical Specifications
Users agree that all hardware specifications, internet speed tests, and workplace photos submitted to WorkBase PH are current and authentic. Misrepresentation of any technical information will result in immediate and permanent account suspension.
10. Privacy Consent — "Get to Know Me" Video
By uploading a "Get to Know Me" video, you grant WorkBase PH the right to share this media with potential employers on the platform for the purpose of talent discovery and evaluation.
11. No Agency Fees for Specialists
WorkBase PH is 100% free for freelancers and specialists. We will never ask for a "placement fee" or "processing fee" from an applicant. If you receive any such request claiming to be from WorkBase PH, report it immediately to admin@workbaseph.com.
12. Circumvention — The Anti-Poaching Clause
Employers agree not to bypass the platform to hire a WorkBase PH-introduced candidate directly outside of the platform. If an Employer hires a candidate discovered through WorkBase PH without paying the required fees, they agree to pay a penalty fee of $5,000 or 25% of the candidate's annual salary (whichever is higher). This clause survives termination of any subscription or service agreement.
13. Refund Policy
All fees are non-refundable once charged. This applies to: Starter job post fees ($15), Essential subscription fees ($29/month or $290/year), Growth subscription fees ($59/month or $590/year), Pro subscription fees ($129/month or $1,290/year), AI Candidate Audit fees ($15), Featured Listing fees ($19/7 days), and Talent Pool Access add-on fees ($19/month). All fees are charged in USD and processed via PayPal.
13a. Privacy & Media Consent — Talent (Video & Audio)
By submitting a "Get to Know Me" video or audio recording to WorkBase PH, Specialists grant WorkBase PH permission to process and securely store such media and share it with Employers for the specific purpose of evaluating job applications. Specialists acknowledge that video recordings constitute sensitive personal information under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and that they may request the deletion of such data at any time, subject to WorkBase PH's data retention policies.
13b. Employer Obligations — Confidentiality & Independent Evaluation
Employers acknowledge that WorkBase PH is a technology platform and does not perform recruitment, screening, or candidate vetting on behalf of Employers. The selection of interview questions and the final assessment of all video responses and candidate profiles are the sole responsibility of the Employer. Employers agree to handle all applicant videos as confidential information and undertake not to download, record, or distribute such materials outside of the WorkBase PH platform, in compliance with National Privacy Commission (NPC) guidelines.
15. System Reliability Disclaimer
While WorkBase PH verifies technical specifications at the time of application, we are not liable for future hardware failures or internet outages experienced by a freelancer after the hire is complete.
16. Data Security
WorkBase PH uses industry-standard encryption to protect your data. We are not liable for security breaches caused by user negligence, including but not limited to sharing passwords or using insecure devices.
WorkBasePH is a digital platform owned and operated by Curators Marketplace, a DTI and BIR-registered business in the Philippines.
