Effective April 18, 2026 — WorkBase PH Service Agreement
By registering or using WorkBase PH ("the Platform"), both Employers and Specialists agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read this document carefully before using the Platform.
WorkBase PH is an intelligent talent-matching platform that connects Employers with Filipino remote Specialists through smart-matching technology. Unlike a traditional job board, WorkBase PH curates and surfaces the right talent directly to employers — based on skills, experience, and role fit.
WorkBase PH earns revenue exclusively from Employer job-posting fees. Specialists pay nothing and are never charged a commission or platform fee. Every peso earned by a Specialist through a WorkBase PH engagement belongs entirely to them.
WorkBase PH offers one self-service hiring plan. All fees are charged in USD and processed via PayPal.
All-Access — $29 flat, per job post
One active job post per $29 purchase, live for a 30-day window that begins when the post actually goes live, not on your purchase date. After 30 days the listing is automatically paused and hidden from candidates, and that post's applicant list is locked; you may post again (a new $29 purchase, which starts its own fresh 30-day window). Every purchase includes unlimited applicants, full candidate profiles and contact details, listing visibility, in-app messaging, instant video interview scheduling, AI-matched candidates, and an applicant tracking pipeline. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. AI Candidate Audit is available as an optional $15 add-on per job post. All fees are non-refundable once the post goes live.
The AI Candidate Audit is an optional per-job-post add-on priced at $15 per audit. WorkBase PH's AI analyzes applicant profiles against the Job Description and categorizes each applicant as a match or mismatch, with a brief reason for each mismatch.
Mismatched applicants are archived (not deleted) and remain viewable at any time. All hiring decisions remain the sole responsibility of the Employer. AI Audit fees are non-refundable once processed.
Browse Talent lets an Employer proactively search the Specialist pool by skill, independent of any specific job post's applicant list. Purchasing the Browse Talent top-up requires an active All-Access ($29) plan at the time of purchase; the top-up itself costs $19 (displayed against a $29 list price for promotional purposes) and grants 30 days of access to the feature from the date of payment. Once purchased, the Browse Talent top-up remains usable for its full 30-day window even if the Employer's underlying All-Access plan lapses before that window ends. Once the top-up's 30-day window lapses, the Employer must have an active All-Access plan again before purchasing another Browse Talent top-up. Browse Talent top-up fees are non-refundable once processed.
Marking a Specialist as liked, passed, or undecided in Browse Talent is a private organizational reference for the Employer's own account; it does not notify the Specialist, does not affect the Specialist's ranking or visibility to other Employers, and carries over only as internal context if that Specialist later applies to one of that same Employer's job posts.
All confidentiality obligations that apply to applicant profiles and media (see Section 13b, Employer Obligations) apply equally to any Specialist profile viewed through Browse Talent, whether or not that Specialist has applied to a job post.
To protect our specialist community, all long-term employer accounts are subject to a quick verification before posting jobs. Project-based engagements do not require verification.
Accepted documents (must include business name and address):
Verification documents are handled securely and never shared with third parties. Employers who do not complete verification within a reasonable period may have their ability to post jobs restricted.
Once WorkBase PH has reviewed and approved an employer's documents, a "Verified Business" badge is displayed next to that employer's company name on job listings and in their account. The badge reflects that the employer submitted documentation showing a registered business name and physical address — it is not an endorsement of the employer, the role, or the terms offered, and specialists should still use their own judgment before accepting work.
All Specialists on WorkBase PH are independent contractors. Nothing in these Terms creates an employer-employee relationship between WorkBase PH and any Specialist, or between an Employer and any Specialist. Specialists are solely responsible for reporting and paying their own taxes (e.g., BIR filings in the Philippines) in accordance with applicable law.
WorkBase PH is a talent-matching platform only. Once an Employer and Specialist connect, any engagement, contract, deliverable, scope, or payment terms are arranged privately and directly between the two parties. All hiring decisions are made solely by the Employer.
WorkBase PH does not mediate, arbitrate, or resolve disputes between Employers and Specialists, and does not assume liability for the outcome of any privately arranged engagement. Both parties are responsible for their own agreements and for resolving any disagreement directly between themselves.
WorkBase PH reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes take effect once the revised Terms are posted on the Platform, and the updated version is always available on this page. Users are encouraged to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Users agree that all hardware specifications, internet speed tests, and workplace photos submitted to WorkBase PH are current and authentic. Misrepresentation of any technical information will result in immediate and permanent account suspension.
By uploading a "Get to Know Me" video, you grant WorkBase PH the right to share this media with potential employers on the platform for the purpose of talent discovery and evaluation.
WorkBase PH is 100% free for freelancers and specialists. We will never ask for a "placement fee" or "processing fee" from an applicant. If you receive any such request claiming to be from WorkBase PH, report it immediately to admin@workbaseph.com.
All fees are non-refundable once charged. This applies to: All-Access job post fees ($29) and AI Candidate Audit fees ($15). All fees are charged in USD and processed via PayPal.
By submitting a "Get to Know Me" video or audio recording, Specialists grant WorkBase PH permission to process, securely store, and share such media with Employers for the purpose of evaluating job applications. Specialists acknowledge that video recordings constitute sensitive personal information under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and may request deletion at any time, subject to WorkBase PH's data retention policies.
For job posts an Employer manages themselves (All-Access / do-it-yourself hiring), Employers acknowledge that WorkBase PH is a technology platform and does not perform recruitment, screening, or candidate vetting on behalf of Employers. The selection of interview questions and the final assessment of all candidate profiles are the sole responsibility of the Employer.
Where an Employer engages WorkBase PH’s Done-For-You Hiring service, WorkBase PH sources, screens, and interviews candidates and presents a shortlist, but all hiring decisions — including which candidate, if any, to hire — are made solely by the Employer.
Employers agree to handle all applicant videos as confidential information and undertake not to download, record, or distribute such materials outside of the WorkBase PH platform, in compliance with National Privacy Commission (NPC) guidelines.
By maintaining a profile on WorkBase PH, Specialists grant WorkBase PH a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to feature excerpts of their public profile — including photos, video or audio introductions, skills, and work samples — in WorkBase PH's own marketing and promotional materials, such as the website, social media, advertising, and investor materials, for the purpose of showcasing the Platform and its talent pool.
Before any such external use, WorkBase PH will blur or otherwise obscure the Specialist's face and remove or redact all personal contact information, including but not limited to email address, phone number, exact home address, and social media or messaging handles. This marketing use is separate from — and more limited than — the full, unobscured profile shown to registered Employers on the Platform for hiring purposes, and does not give any third party a way to contact the Specialist outside the Platform.
This license continues only while the Specialist maintains an active WorkBase PH profile. A Specialist may request that a specific piece of marketing material be taken down at any time by emailing admin@workbaseph.com.
While WorkBase PH verifies technical specifications at the time of application, we are not liable for future hardware failures or internet outages experienced by a freelancer after the hire is complete.
WorkBase PH uses industry-standard encryption to protect your data. We are not liable for security breaches caused by user negligence, including but not limited to sharing passwords or using insecure devices.
